At GAINS, we are committed to ensuring that deserving students have access to quality education regardless of their background. Each year, we design and expand our scholarship portfolio to reward potential, performance, and promise.

Our scholarships are structured to support students across three key dimensions: access, merit, and empowerment.

GAINS Founders’ Scholarship
2081 BS / 2024 AD

An Access-Based Scholarship Fund introduced for the inaugural year, the “GAINS Founders’ Scholarship” was established to support students seeking admission into the BBA and BSc-CSIT programs.

  • The scholarship operated as a dedicated fund with a fixed annual allocation:
    • NRs. 300,000 for BBA
    • NRs. 500,000 for BSc-CSIT
  • Students who met the eligibility criteria were awarded scholarships on a rolling basis.
  • The scheme remained open until the allocated fund was fully utilized.

This initiative reflects GAINS’ foundational commitment to expanding access to higher education.

GAINS Merit & Inclusion Scholarship
2082-83 BS (2025 - 26AD)

  • In 2082 BS (2025 AD), GAINS initiated “Merit & Inclusion Scholarship”—a performance-based initiative designed to recognize academic achievement while promoting educational equity. The scheme continues in 2083 BS (2026 AD), reinforcing GAINS’ sustained commitment to meritocracy and inclusion.
  • The scholarship ranges from 10% to 40% of the tuition fee, awarded based on students’ academic performance at the time of admission. Eligibility is determined across GPA bands, with the minimum threshold at 2.80 CGPA and the highest band at 3.60 CGPA and above.
  • Students from community school backgrounds receive an additional 10% advantage within this scheme, further strengthening inclusivity and addressing structural disparities in educational access.
  • The scholarship is applicable on tuition fees only and reflects GAINS’ belief in rewarding merit while leveling the playing field for students from diverse educational backgrounds.

Lead-HER-ship Scholarship
2083 BS / 2026 AD

  • Beginning in 2083 BS (2026 AD), GAINS introduces the “Lead-HER-ship Scholarship Scheme”—a targeted initiative aimed at promoting female participation in higher education, particularly in management and technology disciplines, while fostering leadership potential.
  • The scholarship ranges from 20% to 50% of the tuition fee, awarded based on academic performance at the time of admission. Eligibility is determined across GPA bands, with the minimum threshold at 2.80 CGPA and the highest band at 3.60 CGPA and above.
  • Students from community school backgrounds receive an additional 10% advantage within this scheme, reinforcing inclusivity and addressing disparities in access to educational resources.
  • The scholarship is exclusively available to female students and is applicable on tuition fees only. Applicants must also successfully complete the admission and selection process for their chosen program (BSc-CSIT or BBA) at GAINS College.
  • This scheme reflects GAINS’ commitment to empowering women through education, enabling them to lead, contribute, and create impact in an increasingly dynamic and competitive environment.
